Membership in the Alameda County Democratic Lawyers Club (ACDLC) is open to all registered Democrats who live, work, or have an interest in Alameda County. Non-lawyers may join and participate in all club activities subject to the exception that “[v]oting membership shall be open only to duly licensed California lawyers who practice or reside in Alameda County and are Democrats” (Bylaws, rev. 1989, Art. III, Sec. 1).
